Guidelines for Authors
Jurnal Promosi Kesehatan Dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (JPKPM)

1. Articles that submitted to Jurnal Promkes includes the results of studies and research in the field of promotion and community service. The manuscript is typed with the Microsoft Word program, Trebuchet MS letter, size 10 pts, with single space, printed on A4 paper of 6-10 pages in English articles, with a top 2.5 margin; bottom 2.5; left 4 and right 2.5cm articles arranged in two columns. Articles submitted in the form of print-outs as much as 1 copies along with soft copy.

2.Articles are written in English or Indonesia. The systematic writing of articles is the title; Writer's name; abstract with keywords; introduction, methods, results and discussion, conclusions, and reference.

3. Article titles in must not be more than 15 words. The title is printed with capital letters in the middle, with a letter size of 14 pts.

4. The author's name stated without an academic title, accompanied by the name and address of the original institution, and placed under the title of the article. In the case of a manuscript written by a team, the editor only deals with the main author or writer whose name is listed first. The main author must include a correspondence address or e-mail address.

5. Abstract length is a maximum of 250 words, while the number of keywords is 4-5 words or a combination of words. The abstract at least contains a background, purpose, methods, results, and conclusion.

6. The introduction section contains background, research context, results of research objectives. All introduction sections presented in an integrated paragraph form, with a length of 15-20% of the total length of the article.

7. The method section contains exposures in paragraph form about the research design, data sources, data collection techniques, and data analysis that were carried out by researchers with a length of 10-15% of the total length of the article.

8. The part of the research results contains an explanation of the results of the analysis related to the research question. Every research result must be discussed. The discussion contains the meaning of the results and the comparison with the theories and/or results of similar studies. Long exposure to results and discussion of 40-60% of the total length of the article.

9. The conclusions section contains the findings of the research answers for the research questions or the core results of the discussion. Conclusions are presented in paragraph form.

10. Bibliography only contains sources that are referred to, and all sources referenced must be listed in the bibliography. Literature sources of at least 80% in the form of sources published in the last 10 years. The article used for the referral is 60% of the total referrals. The literature used is primary sources in the form of research articles (including theses and dissertations).

11. Quoting uses a caged source technique (name, year-end). Inclusion of sources in direct quotations should be accompanied by a description of the fixed page number from the quote. Example: (Otawwa, 2023).

12. References are recommended to be managed using citation management software such as Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero, and should follow the APA (7th edition) referencing style.

13. A bibliography is arranged in a manner like the following example and sorted alphabetically and chronologically.
